Job Description

JOB DETAILS: LOCATION: Head Office, Kampala . Key duties/responsibilities: • Set up Company Policies and Procedures for all departments with a view to acquiring an ISO Certification • Manage all stock, consumables and office requirements • Create and maintain staff files • Maintain leave register for all staff and update personal files • Manage Human Resource procedures and process in conjunction with the Group HR manager including employee performance reviews • Manage and maintain the stock mover system • Allocate stock to the various stores to ensure maximum productivity • Allocate consumables to the control store and mange usage • Ensure all stock is signed out and paperwork correctly filed • Do monthly stock checks of all stock items in the various stores • Maintain stock levels and reorder processes to ensure there are never any stock outs • Follow up on all stock orders and ensure all the paperwork and processes are followed in the import and clearing process • Ensure all LPO are created in Palladium • Ensure all invoices are posted for payment in Palladium • Reconcile supplier statements and correct discrepancies • Regular price comparisons with suppliers both local and international to ensure competitiveness • Manage repossessions agents; o Ensure work flow and optimal uses of time o Ensure paperwork is correct o Maintain repossession files with all necessary documents o Do monthly inspections of all company vehicles • Manage the Mobile Money account for the company o Out of town allowances o Weekly travel allowances o Reconcile Mobile Money account on a weekly basis Required Qualifications and Work Experience: • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a financial institution. • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field. • Leadership skills • High Computer Literacy • Accounting and Financial knowledge • Human Resource Skills (administration, management, selection, recruitment, training, labour/employee relations, policy formulation, health & safety) • Office administration • Stock management • Able to handle work pressure • Accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent time management • Good communication skills • Mature individual Job Education Requirements: Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field. Job Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years’ experience
