Position: Cateress (1 Position) – Ext AD 21/4/2021 Duty Station: Main Campus – Nkozi Campus Reports to: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) . Accountability Profile • Managing the food and beverage provision for staff and students • Supervising catering activities • Planning menus in consultation with Chefs. • Recruitment and training of Kitchen staff in consultation with the Director, Human Resources. • Being in charge of organising, leading and motivating the catering team. • Being in charge of planning staff shifts and rotas • Monitoring the quality of the service provided • Monitoring the cleanliness of the kitchen. • Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by relevant authority. Job Skills : Not Specified Academic Qualifications and Experience The candidate should be in possession of a relevant Diploma in Hotel and Institutional Catering or its equivalent in a relevant field from a recognized institution. She should have working experience of at least 3 years as Cateress in a recognized organization or in a related activity in a recognized institution. She should have a satisfactory record of service to the community.
