Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and competent person, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (27) years leading steel manufacturer as an Assistant Machine Operator. Responsibilities • Set up machine calibration, cleaning etc. to start a production cycle • Operate and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency. • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws and conduct quality checks periodically. • Report any faults in case they happen. • Perform machine setting and prepare products ready to be packed. • Ensure maintenance of the machine for proper quality products. • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Required Qualification, Skills and Experience. • National certificate in mechanics, wielding and fabrication or its equivalent. • A minimum of 1-year similar working experience in a Manufacturing Sector. • Good analytical skills. • Excellent hand-eye coordination. • Good organizational skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle strong pressure and work under supervision.
