Overview Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is East Africa’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The Company manufactures antiretrovirals, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTS) and, Hepatitis medicines, to treat HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and Hepatitis respectively. CiplaQCIL is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated individuals, who are also committed team players to reinforce its capacity by filling the following vacant positions: Job title: 06 Production Operator Reports to the Senior Operator Duties & Responsibilities: • Ensuring that all established cGMP are maintained • Ensuring that equipment is maintained, calibrated and cleaned • Ensuring that housekeeping and maintenance are performed Undertaking granulation of materials, monitoring and recording of the process parameters as provided in the BMR and SOPS • Maintaining status labelling on the equipment • Ensure that the established EHS guidelines are adhered to • Maintaining of proper material handling during processing • Maintaining inventory of required tools, spares an perform preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure down time is minimized Ensuring that cGMP, SOPs and Change Control Systems are followed • Maintaining and observing relevant documentation related to qualification, validation and preventive maintenance Skills and Qualifications: • Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Minimum of two (02) years demonstrable experience in a busy industrial setup
